SCBX Sends Aid to Myanmar Earthquake Victims

SCBX Group, via Siam Commercial Bank, donates 500 survival bags to support earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar.

SCBX Group, represented by Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility through timely humanitarian support following the recent devastating earthquake in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, which caused significant loss of life and property.

As part of the SCB Disaster Relief initiative, the Bank donated 500 survival bags containing ready-to-eat food and beverages. The aid was delivered through the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, which facilitated the cross-border relief effort.

Rear Admiral Piyasak Nilnimitr, Deputy Director of Joint Civil Affairs, accepted the donation on behalf of the Royal Thai Armed Forces.

The survival bags were presented by Mrs Apiradee Synsukpermpoon, Executive Vice President and Head of the International Banking Function, and Mr Saksit Pitipongsoonthorn, First Senior Vice President and Head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Function at Siam Commercial Bank.
